cladding made of 40 x40 cm battens; winner in 2011 of the Normandy Award for the wood construction and environment, and in 2012 for the national award of the wooden construction .

Chestnut, which is abundant in Normandy and Brittany, has been chosen by the architect in order to give advantage to local timber. The open jointed layout of square sections batten give to the building a natural aspect matching with the values of a sustainable development
